On the Sunday before I head back to work following a nice Christmas break, I figure that I'd better catch up on some pictures. There are several pictures that I don't have on this computer, so there may be others from Christmas that come later. These are the ones from our camera.

Charlee's 1st Christmas was a good one, although I am excited for next year when she really gets the excitement of it all. She has had a couple milestones lately. She now smiles in reciprocation to a high voice, a silly face, or an exaggerated expression, so of course you can't help but be around her and do all those things repeatedly. She rolled over from her stomach to her back which took so long that we were able to get the video camera in between, and now routinely rolls to her back if you put her on her stomach. So much for "tummy time". Another thing is that she is really discovering her voice. She has learned this kind of squeak and also another sound where she puts both hands to her mouth and moves them to make different tones. There is continued differentiation from just crying or not crying... some of her happy sounds almost need the accompanying face to be interpreted.

Ok, ok. On to the real reason you come to look: The pics! Here we go...

Here is her tummy time mat. I thought I would put a picture of it on here since it is pretty much obsolete from here on out.

Sometimes you can get her to do some tummy time if you creatively rest her on your lap. I love her eyes in this one!

While laying with Charlee and Scooter, Speedee helped herself to a little nap right on Charlee. Charlee even "pet her". We let her lay there just about as long as it takes to snap a couple pictures, then Charlee was back to off-limit status for Speedee.
