April blog... Charlee is now on the edge of crawling and beginning to make sounds that we sometimes say mean certain words. The crawling is funny because she has only really figured out how to go backwards, which I guess I had the same problem with as a babe. With the talking she is letting out some ba-ba-bas, da-da-das, and ma-ma-mas, which OF COURSE she is saying bottle (ba-ba), dada, and mama. We finally stopped swaddling, and did it at the same time that we changed her sleep schedule a little bit including a new little routine. The reward is that she has given us is like 12 out of 15 nights sleeping from 8:30 straight through to 7AM. Woo-hoo!
OK, on to the pictures:
The giraffe "Raffa" was my present for father's dad last year (when I was the proud parent of a fetus). Charlee loves it and we have a good video that goes with this picture.
