Day 4 since the birth and our second full day getting used to the schedule at home. A repeating cycle of feeding, swaddling, changing diapers, and every once and a while, we sneak some sleep in. Although it is a lot of the same tasks, the days go by quickly and they are full of things to do and of newness. I am already dreading the return to work, but for now I am just focusing on being there for Casey and Charlee. I love the sense of teamwork with Casey and I and so far thing are going great.
We have already been asked for some pics, so we will get some new ones on here. Plus, we take like 15 per hour and need something to do with them...
Our trip home:
Charlee is so tiny in the car seat. She is even a little small for the insert...
I am still perfecting "the swaddle". This particular one ended up looking like a Christmas stocking.
The next couple of pictures were just to give an idea of how tiny she is...
Her little hand.
The bottom of her foot.
Her leg from the knee down (which is as long as my finger).
Her foot (compared to the size of my thumb.
Her foot in the palm of my hands.
A sleeping picture in one of her outfits, many of which are much too big.
Profile view while in a swaddle.
Mommy and Charlee
They tell you to do this hold. I find it risky. Sure enough though she is calm as can be while being held like this.
Unposed (honestly). It was in the middle of a feeding before being burped, when all the sudden she just ended up on her arm. Also, you have to love the infant male pattern baldness!
She is her mother's daughter, accessorized in a blue headband...
That is all the pictures I will put on there for now. Can't wait for Charlee to get to meet everyone that she hasn't already. Until next time. L,C,&C
